We see so many images every day. Most of them are more or less meaningless :poo: and pass our mind like a wind. But among the vast stream of images there are the occational few which make a difference and stay on our minds. In my opinion that is enough definition for a good photograph: it is being remembered. It is some of that kind of images that I'm featuring as the 'Images of the Week'. This week it's all about black and white. In many ways the monochrome image shows the essence of photography which is literally drawing with light.

"To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour."

William Blake: 'Auguries of Innocence'
