Christmas is probably the most beautiful season of the year - it is time when winter is decorated with very rich colours and ornaments. And red is the colour which stands out the most.

When I saw this photo, I was enchanted. Christmas is my favourite time of the year and I really love Christmas photos. This one, though, was something special. It really made me feel better and it definitely made me anticipate the 25th of December even more than usual.

I just love the way this little red Christmas ball is put in focus. The blur of the background makes it even more beautiful and the snow brings to the wistfulness we feel. Personally, I find this photo very moving and one of the best of the season.

And as the final aspect of the critique, I'd like to add that the quality is excellent, the timing perfect, the subject well chosen and the overall photo very idyllic.
