:woohoo:

Please use the download button to get yourself a .zip package containing 5 individual exposures; -2, -1 , 0 , +1 and +2 EV all in jpg's. No 'single RAW method' was used here; all exposures are truly individual. ---> Note that in the alignment settings of your HDR software!

So here's what to do;
:bulletred: Download the files.
:bulletred: Prepare your HDR image with your preferred software.
:bulletred: Tone map it. (about tonemapping in Wikipedia: [link] )
:bulletred: Edit the image further if you wish (I know I will since tone mapping only takes you half-way).
:bulletred: ..and finally upload your creation on dA.

I have just one request; Post me a link to your creation! I always enjoy seeing what you have come up with my files.

Now hit the download button and see what you can do with this workshop.

Another HDR workshops of mine. Try them out too!

Could you elaborate on steps 3 and 4, please? I don't need step-by-step instructions, just more specifics. Thanks!

Sure;

3) tone mapping: [link]

4) editing further: by editing further I just mean applying different filters and such in Photoshop or some similiar editing software.

Thanks for your help! What kind of filters etc. do you normally use? Contrast changes? The Burn tool?

Basically most often just;

- curves
- levels
- dodge & burn

In photoshop do not use brightness/contrast setting. Use the curves and levels tools instead. You will have much better control on the final result by using those tools.

This might be good practice for me, I've considered trying HDR.
