the Control Room HDR workshopby *wchild

It has been a while since my last HDR workshop so let's give it a go!

This is from an abandoned steam power plant near Oulu, Finland. This is the control room of the plant. The plant itself was built in the 1920's and abandoned in the 1980's.

Please use the download button to get yourself a .zip package containing 5 individual exposures; -2, -1 , 0 , +1 and +2 EV all in jpg's. No 'single RAW method' was used here; all exposures are truly individual. Note that in the alignment settings of your HDR software. My hands are not that steady you know.. I had a tripod in the trunk of my car but I did not bother to get it.

So what to do;

Download the files.

Prepare your HDR image with your preferred software.

Tone map it.

Edit the image further if you wish (I know I will since tone mapping only takes you half-way).

..and finally upload your creation on dA.

Use these files freely;

crop
distort
go monochrome
go negative
go fuckin' crazy.
