I think I somehow underestimated HDR since I heard about it. Obviously the results can be more impressive than I have experienced until today. Makes me want to buy a good camera when seeing this.

Thanks for saying so. You don't need a 'good' camera in order to achieve nice hdr results. All you need is a camera with exposure bracketing option = it lets you take several exposures with different level of brightness.
