Description

'Wash your sins not just your face' or in Greek it's a palindrome 'Νίψον ανομήματα, μη μόναν όψιν'. According to tradition that text was carved on a well outside the Greek Orthodox Church of Hagia Sophia of Konstantinoupolis.

The sentence still makes perfect sense especially today in our superficial society.

I like the idea of this shot. It appears as though that place had just been abandoned and is on it's way to decomposing into a grungy state. It's a slight bit gritty, but not too much, I'd say a bare minimum. What caught my attention at first was the sink and how it appears to draw attention to itself as a result of the lighting. I feel like the shot is kind of bright, though, especially on the right half of the picture. Toning it down a bit would work to deliver a more decrepit atmosphere. Also, the angle doesn't deliver much of an impact. I'd personally try to find a more dramatic angle in order to bring out the potential of this picture. Other than that, good work.
