Lost and Found by wchild Lost and Found by wchild

Today a man fell in this yacht harbour pool with his car for some reason not yet known. The fire department was able to rescue him and take him to the nearby hospital. At the same time the divers found also another car from the pool. That car and its driver were reported missing almost a year ago, on December 2nd 2011. The driver was still inside his car today. Searching him used to be 'big news' in my hometown this year. Both cars entered the pool on the left side of this photograph, where the row of streetlights end. Somehow after hearing they found him there I felt I needed to go there and pay my respects somehow. Through means of photography in this case.

News coverage in local newspaper, only in Finnish though: [link]

The story makes the shot so much more eery. ... it's a sad story, but I am glad to read they could rescue the driver this year.

True. As a matter a fact that later driver died in the hospital the next day.
